After pulling out the wax pot on Sunday night, I am reminded how important eyebrow shaping is to the overall integrity of the face. Now, the funny thing is, I did not wax my own eyebrows mind you, but my brothers! Although, "straight" as a board, he inherited the same "ape" gene that I did, and does need the occasional hair removal assistance from yours truly. No, I did not "shape" them, but lets face it folks, when and if you start looking like Bert on Sesame Street, with one giant "caterpillar" stretched across your forehead, it's time for an intervention. His were not that bad however, because having me as a sister, I would never let that happen, but for all intents and purposes of this post, lets exaggerate the necessity.

Now, let me also mention the extreme opposite of this problem...OVER TWEEZING. Not ok. Ever. Brows were put on our face not only to act like little gutters over our eyes, but they also add to the overall aesthetics of the face...a frame to the eye! Lets not forget, God ALWAYS knows what he's doing. Therefore, don't remove it and then paint on a pathetic substitute! Yikes! Especially living in the northwest ladies, one rain storm and you'll look like a runny oil painting. Now, if you were born with naturally thin brows, that's ok too! There are tricks of the trade to enhance. But, let's work with what we've got!

Now, lucky for me, a strong, defined brow is all the rage right now. So, if you're overly blessed as I have been in the brow department...maintenance is a daily pain, as I am all too familiar...or if perhaps you need to grow them back out...no matter what your current brow situation is, take a look at this video of simple eye brow shaping, thanks to Anastasia, Hollywood eyebrow expert to the stars.
